We connect Internet professionals by
providing educational events and programs in New York
NYog -- New York Operators Group
NYog, a program of Open Access.net Inc a federally recognized 501(c)3 public charity, was established after the abrupt closure of NYNOG in March 2024. The purpose of NYog is to bring telecommunications professionals within the New York Metropolitan area together through no-entry fee, private, events that we host twice a year as well as provide an opportunity for sponsors and participants to come together and celebrate the holiday season each year. Our educational sessions focus on new technologies, discuss challenges and present ways to solve such challenges with like minded individuals in the ever changing landscape within the community. We hope to be able to fill the much needed void that was left after the closure of NYNOG.
We welcome all technical facets of the telecommunications industry to join and participate at our events. Participants shall be part of the operator community, specializing on infrastructure, automation, including front-end and back-end engineers and developers.
